I don?t know if it would help you or not but you should be able to get a stock from Dunlap Wood Crafts, Chantilly, VA. Their stocks are excellent American Black Walnut, about 90 to 95% finished. A buttplate and screws can be purchased from Lodgewood or S&S.

Might be a nice Winter project for you! Hope that helps.

S & S Firearms in Glendale Queens has some used Springfield stocks. With buttplates. Hope this helps
