Greetings
Here is a nice London Armory made "Enfield" rifle musket that has been converted to the Snider conversion. 58 cal as the original. Bore is near perfect and extremely shootable as is. (Brass is avalable). Overall very good condition, bluing is mostly age browned but still visible. Fully functional. Has tons of British proof marks all over it. Original ramrod. Lock is dated 1862. London Armory cartouche on buttstock. Had chain and snap cap that is original.
WHen i shot in competition, at one time I shot a L.A. Co. enfield and found it to be comfortable with my fat cheek. Other enfields seemed to be too straight. So, I suspect the L.A. Co ones had more drop.
This would make a great shooter by dropping in a rifle musket barrel. Or, you could shoot the breechloader as is.
Selling due to unemployment. Will be selling a number of things going forward.
