Hello,

I am selling my original 1822 Ohio Conversion. This is one of the rifled, but non-sited conversion done by Greenwood. The metal is in excellent condition. Rifling is faint, but present. At some point the forestock was replaced, the joint is under the rear barrel band. There is a crack at the wrist that could be repaired by someone that know's what they are doing. The cone had been replaced with a modern cone as well. This will include a fitting original bayonet. I'm asking $900 obo.

I would also be interested in trades or trades and cash for anything flintlock, or even non military backpowder rifles for 10 year old to learn on.

Thanks much,
Scott

SyLibby - Can you tell me how you know this musket was rifled by Greenwood? Thank you!

Hi John,

If I'm wrong about the alteration I'm happy to learn more. I was basing it on the Ohio stamp, cone in barrel and three groove rifling, which fit's with 7/8th's of the weapons Greenwood altered for Ohio. I hadn't been able to find any other maker that rifled them without adding sights to so many of them.
