Please let me know if you have any of these spares. Know SS Firearms has the safety and lever catch. Thanks, Eric.

Safety and screw
Lever catch and pin and spring
Left side screw (head stripped; will need replacement when I use screw extractor)
Lever arm (repaired, might not be able to remove/restore/re-weld)
Sling swivel base and two screws

Screws (4) that were for the leather cover

I picked up the safety and lever catch from SS Firearms, plus a receiver screw that I didn't need, as all five screws came out just beautifully. Only screw that gave me fits, was the extractor screw right in front of the trigger. Installed the lever catch and it's now holding the lever in place, after bending gently outward the end of the lever.

I can fabricate the brass front sight piece, but would like the rear sight piece that holds the sight in the different 1-8(00) yd positions. I'll also pick up from SS the extractor screw and extractor, unless anyone here has these parts plus the rear sight piece. Lastly, the buttplate top/end has wood filler like stuff where there should be a screw. I'll remove the buttplate tonight to see if that too has the serial number on the backside. I've counted six parts stamped with the serial 6431.

Any S&H collectors here who might also have the parts?

Eric.

Evaporust did squat on the top/end screw head for the buttplate. The top/end of the buttplate must have been sitting for years in a damp area. Went ahead and drilled deep enough to start the extractor bit but the extractor just dug deeper without turning the screw. Used a wider drill to remove most of the top center of the head, then with my hammer and fine center punch hammered inwards the rest of the head. Buttplate finally came off, and there on the backside/bottom in beautiful clarity was the seventh matching serial number 6431 - barrel, receiver, lever, lever arm, trigger plate, top/serial plate and now buttplate make seven.

I'll take measurements of the good screw, and hope someone might have one to match for the top screw that's now a stub in the stock.

Caliper reads the following, along with photo:

Length: total - 1 15/32"; threaded - 59/64"; non-threaded (excl. head) - 29/64"
Width: thread center - 1/8"; non-threaded - 13/64"
Thread count: ~9?

Just ordered a piece of brass from Northeast Trade Co for my front sight. I'll grind down/shape/install that next week. Created a thin cardboard best guess cutout of the sliding bar I'll need to make for the rear sight. Very thin, and think one of my exacto razor blades will do the trick.

The Rifle Shoppe is the only place I've found that has a repro rear swivel base. Anyone out there willing to sell a base (and screws)? I'd be happy to pay for an original piece. Screw dimensions are in my prior thread.

I found several overhead photos that I can use to fabricate the sliding bar. It's just such a small/thin part, and will likely take multiple efforts to make a worthy piece. There's a center piece that I hadn't realized was a permanent part of the sight piece (curved/attached via the pin).
