This is an honest complete antique 3rd model 1873 built in 1890 in 44-40. The barrel is 24 inch octagon. It has clear riling with rounding and scattered pitting. It is actually pretty good for its age. There are two gouges shown in the pictures, both fit the age and wear of the gun. I considered them the character of honest use and do not detract from the guns. The lock up is tight and the action smooth
Winchester Sold
This a very nice example of and Allen & Thurber pepper. This one date between 1847 & 1854 and has an 1837 Patten date. It is .32 cal 6 shot . The mechanical function is excellent. The trigger is more than 10 lbs. Most of the engraving is sharp with a few spot of mild pitting. The grips an solid with good original finsih It is antique so should ship straight to your door.
