I'm done with my second Merrill restoration, and would like to find another mate for my NM1859 Sharps carbine - in restorable condition and priced accordingly. Thanks, Eric.

Anyone looking to part with your long-ago purchased restorable CW era carbine or rifle but just never going to make a go of it? I now have five antique firearms I've restored three with significant resto efforts needed. Looking for another Sharps, but would like others as well - ones that had new technology patents like the Allin, Miller, etc. breech loading. Email me at ewmail15@gmail.com, and I'd love to see photos. Don't want to part with them, but need someone to weld or remove busted screws, I'd be happy to help.

One of my efforts this fall will be to fabricate top/bottom molds for Merrill levers that I can fit on either side of the lever, then into my big old vice, turn turn turn and lever like original. Seen several Merrill levers bent, likely from the plunger arm freezing in the breech and trying to force open with the lever. Eric.
