This Gibbs rifle started life as a .40 caliber but was later rebored to .458 by Hoyt to accept common 45/70 bullets. 1-18" twist . I shoot the saeco #745 with 80 grains of 2f old eyensford powder. Bore is perfect, less than 100 rounds through it. very accurate. Pedersoli long range sight and front adjustable sight. Includes brass funnel. Mould is not included. Need it for my sharps. Platinum nipple included. slight handling marks.
This fine rifle needs to be shot at distance where it excells.
