In 1855 the US Army in an effort to standardize calibers to 58cal re-worked 1841 Mississippi Rifles by re-boring them from 54cal to 58cal and cutting the front barrel band to except the new 1855 service rifles bayonet. This was done mostly at Harper's Ferry Arsenal. This rifle is a copy of the re-worked 1841. It has a Bobby Hoyt competition barrel with long range rear sight a dove tailed front sight and the lock is marked Harper's Ferry with all S&S Firearm parts and hard ware (Not Italian Made) with correct ram rod for the re-worked rifle and a nice walnut stock from James Rivers Armory. It was N-SSA inspected and used in two local matches and drive nails. You can't buy the parts and built it yourself for this price. $750.00 plus $30.00 shipping. (sorry the photos are not better)
