Is there anyone out there nowadays that can do a good job enlarging the bands' diameter in a mold?
A Lyman #445599 would be a prime candidate if someone can do the work.

By the way, if you're using it in a venue where paper patching is acceptable, taking a #445599 out to a straight sided configuration should be easy and relatively inexpensive. I used that in a shallow groove green mountain barrel long time ago. Reminds me, I want to have that adjustable length plug make a deeper hollow, longer bullet and thinner skirt so I don't have to jack up the powder charge.
