A quick survey of the news indicates that the Country is cautiously and slowly opening up, it is time to sell and buy.

After 40 years in the NSSA, it is time to sell these firearms.

I am offering for sale the following firearms.

There is a 44 caliber 58 Remington revolver by Uberti with Tom Ball connection for sale plus accessories under another recent post. $725

30 inch Macon, working parts gun with original and repro parts, stretched stock with SAC card, $500.

36 inch Macon, original and repro parts, original barrel, with forward stock repair, with SAC card. $800

1855, Two band Artillery Rifle, original Maynard lock 1858, and repro parts, trigger done, Hoyt Reline, never fired, SAC card. $950.

1863 type II, dated 1864, three band musket, original and repro parts, stretched stock, Numrich Barrel, dark bands. SAC card. $800.

1863 type II, dated 1864, two band musket, original and repro parts, Numrich Barrel, dark bands, SAC card. $800
Numrich barrels are tad on the small size, 574. Buying with full price, I will include a 572 threaded sizing die.

Second model 50 cal Maynard with 160 plus or minus reduced brass cases, trigger done, 50 cal. Rapine bullet mold, 515 sizing die. $2200.

H and P smoothbore times 2. I am selling two H and P for one money because the firearms are connected. The bands of H and P (A) were taken from H and P (b) to make it legal. H and P ( B) is a New Jersey type 1 with rear sight reversed and just of hint of rifling. H and P (B) can not be used in NSSA smoothbore competition AS IS. H and P (A) is legal with SAC card. It would be nice to keep the firearms together. Both H and P's are selling for $2400. If you want to buy the New Jersey type ! separately, as is, for restoration and competition, I am open to offers around $1000.

If you are thinking of making an offer, think "plus shipping".

I am open to make "dealing" as flexible possible.

Serious inquiries only and Pictures upon request.

The deal on the Maynard Carbine, model 2, has changed. I am removing the Rapine Bullet 515 mold and 515 sizer from the package. The mold and sizer was sold to a person outside the package. The new price for the Maynard Carbine, 50 cal. with accessories is NOW $2100 shipped.

Thanks Again,

fellow Skirmishers,

The Maynard Carbine posted here as been sold. Thanks to all who inquired, and the Maynard has found a new home. There are still many firearms on this post that need to find new homes. There is not enough room in the casket for everything.

Harry, what brand are the H&Ps, Springfield, HF or other...

Charlie,

I shoot mostly original firearms that are not pristine but still usable. If the barrel is marginal, I will leave it alone and not shoot it or get it relined. The H and P that I shoot and selling for the right price is a Springfield 1838 (smoothbore) and the 69 cal Rifled smoothbore is 1831 with the rear sight in the reverse. The more that I look at the fit of the parts, the rifled H and P appears to be put together from almost fitting parts. It could be late war or post war. The barrel has a clean out screw which is marker for the New Jersey, type 1, but the New Jersey markings are gone. The Rifled musket has been bored out except for faint rifling at the breech. The barrel on the rifled H and P is thin. Even though I fired it with unpatched round ball; the barrel is thin. If I was in my middle Skirmishing years, I would explore the possibility of buying a Hoyt or Dan W, H and P smoothbore barrel and match it to the lock. There is a post on this forum where I hoped to do that but the group response was vague or not worth my effort. After 40 years in the Organization, I am looking for simple not complex. As stated in the post, The Macons are a combination of original and repro, and all have a SAC card. The smoothbore H and P has a SAC card.
An example of the firearms for sale on this forum is beauty and function, and they command a premium price. My firearms are built for function not necessarily beauty. From a reasonable distance, my firearms look good. If you see flaws, you are standing too close to me.
In a nut shell that is it. With these firearms you load up and shoot; the gun will fire. Hitting something is totally operator dependent.

With that said, did I answer your questions? If not, send me a PM, and we can take the discussion off line.

I sending this thread around again hoping someone will find a future Holiday present. Anyone can give clothes, but it is special to give that certain family member something that he/she will enjoy. You will enjoy shooting next to that family member as well.

I am selling a modified list. The Maynard has been sold.
