The rear sight "V" has been notched down for a vastly improved sight picture. The Enfield has been maligned for too shallow of a stock drop and difficult to find the proper sight picture. This modification improved this problem for me.

I have shot it quite a bit and skirmished with it for a few years. If you can hold it, it will shoot. Since I now only shoot in the ACWSA a few times a year, I have decided to thin out the collection.

Balance? I think its fine and the sight picture improved for me when I notched the rear sight.. (see photo).
