Here for your consideration is a very nice Birmingham Small Arms contract Pattern 1853 rifle musket in excellent original condition. Bore is bright and shiny and very shootable. Might even be good for international competition where originals are required. Wood is excellent. All the appropriate British proof marks. BSA cartouche in stock is very nice. Original ramrod with British markings. You will be hard pressed to find one as nice. Comes with snap cap and chain, and sling. $975 plus shipping and insurance.
