I have a E whitney Connecticut contract m1861 for sale. It's the early "scarce " version from my research. The barrel is rifled with 7 grooves. .58 Cal. Has a ram rod, but missing the rear sight. The stock has June 17, 1865 US NC carved into the stock. The stock has no cracks in it. I'm asking $1500 obo. Any interest or more information about the rifle please contact me.
