I have a model 1842 musket, dated 1848. The musket is complete, but needs work. The lock works well and all marks are crisp and clean. The stock seems solid. The butt has an ?IS? stamped on it. I am assuming potential intinials. The fault of the musket is the bore is clogged. I am not sure if it is just dirt or another obstruction. If a shooter so desired, a Replacement barrel could be put on an ready to fire. That is the only issue that I can see. I just do not have time for the project. I am asking $850.00 that would include shipping. Fair offers would be considered. I am not looking for trades, thank you for the offers though. I know I can make money that way, but would be a shame to perform cannibalism on such a potential shooter.
