This is for their M1859 percussion 54 cal model. I presume this is common to the berdan version, and maybe the cartridge versions as well?

Lost the pin ( I know, i will probably find the lost one after I buy a new one!!) somewhere along the line. Dont want to have to spend high dollar Pedersoli prices if I dont have to.

Anyone have one?

Thanks

VTI would have it, so would Lodgewood, S&S, maybe Dixie, Flintlocks, etc. and there's a firm in Texas specializing in Pedersoli parts - can't think of the name.

Thanks. Looked at them and they are pricey. Was wondering if someone might have one I could get used. New ones seem to start at 35 and up from there.

I'd check with Charlie Hahn

Hello, FYI, they only handle parts for armisport/Chiappi sharps guns. Does anyone know if the hinge pin would be the same in size and fit between armisport and pedersoli sharps? Has anyone tried this? Thanks

Might be something one of our local machinists might want to supply.

Did you try IFG (Italian Firearms Group)? They're also a distributor and parts supplier. Give them a call at 1-800-450-1852. The code number for the part you need is: 0800000214.

Asked IFG and they do not have in stock, but price is around 50 bucks. Price is 58 bucks at VTI. The ones at Taylor are only about 20 bucks. But, I dont know if they will fit the pedersoli.

Order it from Dixie for $25 and if it doesn't fit, send it back.

I have been totally under-impressed with the "IFG". Tried to talk to a guy there last year when I was trying to find a Richmond Carbine mainspring. Tried to impress the need for a modern web-based service to buy parts, and how Pedersoli has just tons and tons of parts and accessories but trying to find someone who carries everything is almost impossible, and how they should figure out how to drop-ship parts with a web front end for taking orders.

I got a big shoulder shrug. "People like to call up and order things over the phone" was the answer. It's like they think it's still 1985 or something. Probably thinks the Sears Catalog is still a going thing.
