Original 1860 Cavalry Saber Ames

Up for sale is a very original and unmolested Ames 1860 Cavalry Saber and scabbard as used in the War of Northern Aggression. Ames was a well known manufacturer of edged weapons during that period. The saber is in very good condition and has not been helped, restored, cleaned or otherwise monkeyed with by anyone. The wire wrap is intact but the leather wrap has deteriorated to a certain extent as shown in photos. This is a very nice, uncleaned saber with great patina and will make a fantastic display saber/scabbard. $525.00 shipped to your door in the lower 48.
