A former member wishes to sell one very robustly built free standing cabin at Fort Shenandoah. The shack is 8 foot by 9 foot, and tall enough to stand in even at the eves. High pitched roof is made to look like it is made only with overlapped boards, but has OSB underneath to prevent leaks. It is built of rough sawn lumber, and looks very much like what soldiers built in the winters of '61-'64. All exterior knots are tarred so they should not leak. Has one door, no windows, and is furnished inside with two bunks arranged in an "L" fashion to maximize the amount of usable floor space. Very stout building and is not likely to ever float away, even in a flood.
Since the cabin is free standing and is not permanently fixed to the ground with any foundation, you won't need permits.
Asking $700.00 and can arrange to have it moved to your campsite. Sorry, no good pictures available. Can take Paypal or check/Money order.
