I went out to the range with my Zoli Missississippi this past week in preparation for this weeks regional and broke the nipple off down to the threads. Don't know if anybody has ever tried this but I took a star wrench(similar to an Allen wrench) and lightly tapped it into the center of the remaining portion of the nipple. It was just a matter of turning the wrench to remove the threaded remains of the nipple. I know this saved me some gunsmithing money and my musket was operational in minutes.

The TORX has almost replaced the easyout most everywhere to remove broken bolts and tubes etc, and with so many different sizes you can find one to fit almost everything. Used a big one awhile ago to remove a 1/2" bolt on a piece of farm equipment. They also work great on their intended purpose as well!
