WTB Pietta Cavalry Model Smith Carbine, WITH ALL PROBLEMS WORKED OUT

I have been asked by a friend & non-member, to find a Pietta Cavalry Model Smith Carbine, WITH ALL PROBLEMS WORKED OUT. I am not a Smith shooter but I remember there were or are still some issues with the Pietta Smith carbines with respect to rifling and cleanout screws. Are there other issues to be wary of? I am just trying to help out a friend who cannot make the trip to the Nationals.
