1863 Garrett Sharps carbine for sale. The good news is it comes with a Hahn breech block job. brand new Moose 2 cavity mold, Hahn recommended grease and o-rings, a package of hair curler paper, tall front sight and 1 bag of Charlies tubes. It has a very good trigger pull. The wood is good.
The bad news is, it was once owned to a reenactor. When I got it it was pretty rough. It was missing the pellet feeder parts and there were several areas of pretty heavy rust on the barrel and breech. There is some roughness at both ends of the bore. I have found and replaced most of the missing parts and gently cleaned off as much of the rust as I could. I was going to have the barrel relined but several Sharps shooters said they thought it would shoot fine as is.
I have not fired it.
I have $1000 in it and that is my price.
If there is any interest I will bring it to the Nationals.
