Repro Colt musket lock parts

Are the internal lock parts for the repro colt muskets properly hardened or are they soft needing hardened?

When they were new to the market Colt Firearms did all the case hardening for Colt Black Powder. At some point late in year two they started doing it themselves which wasn’t much better then ArmiSport.
