I have a strong Hewes and Phillip Type 1 chambered breech alteration. The stock has strong cartouche marks, 1" slight crack along the wood grain (very superficial) on buttstock. Externally, the barrel has minor pitting along with viewer and proof marks. The bore itself has some rifling remaining, but would need to be relined to be a solid tack driver. But otherwise, it would be a good reenactor gun, occasional shooter, or collector piece.
The hammer screw needs to be replaced as it's broken in the tumbler (which should be an easy fix for any competent wrench-turner), but that's about the only piece to be replaced. Action is strong, and definitely saw some use. I recall them finding some dropped .69 minie balls at Gettysburg even.
