Saw an earlier post regarding which of these smiths had barrel issues. It did not seem definitive though. Is there a reasonably solid year/date range where one can be reasonably confident the barrel will be good? Looking at one to buy remote, so year date is 1992 and has a serial of 15xx. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!!

Ok, his was already relined by Bobby Hoyt was the reason I was asking. It should be good to go if that was the one you were thinking about..
