Metallic rimfire cartridge, if I am not mistaken the Spencer cartridge is the same cartridge.

My wife's 1st model is 56-56. I can't swear they all are, though.

I have an original Spencer case that starts in and then gets tight and would need force. I?m fairly sure it?s the proper cartridge.
