Greetings

Looking for one of these assemblies. I presume it can be retro fit to a single trigger 1859 Pedersoli (which is my plan), but not 100% sure. Any advice would be welcome also.

Thanks

Actually you'd be best off to contact Pedersoli via their website. I've done it a number of times and have received a quick response each time.

Taylors lists the double set trigger assembly under their parts for the Sharps rifle.

DOUBLE SET TRIGGER ASSEMBLY O98.007 +$113.75

Might take a while to order it from Italy, but that looks like a cheap date.

Don't forget, you'll probably have to replace the tumbler for one with a fly so it doesn't hang up on half cock.

Good catch. Does anyone who owns a Berdan pedersoli sharps know if it came with a tumbler with fly? I presume so, but need to know for sure.

Just answered my own question, looked at the parts diagram on the berdan sharps, and shows a fly equipped tumbler.

I checked with Taylor's on this. The parts indicated are for a Chiappa Sharps and that is only what they carry at this time.

Again, check with Pedersoli - their website diagram of the 1859 Sharps Berdan shows exactly what you're looking for. You should be able to order the parts from VTI or from Beauchamp.
