Type III Harper's Ferry conversion dated 1850 on lock and barrel tang. All original as altered by H F in 1856. This particular rifle is still in the original 54 cal. excellent bore, long range 1855 rifle sight with spanner screw, short brass nose cap, 1855 rifle front sight and bayonet lug.
