Looking to buy a Hoyt 1855/1861 Springfield barrel to be used in a custom build with a Haack Richmond high hump lock. Gun will be used for living history demos at NPS and other historical sites, so the rifling doesn't necessarily have to be great to shoot blanks. A new or even used armory bright or slight patina is fine as long as there is no outside pitting. If you have a spare or an old one you replaced I am open to hear what you have.

Why do you need a Hoyt reline if rifling doesn’t matter. Just get a shot out iriginal

If I find one in decent armory bright condition I will. Nothing is worse than a musket made with a mix and match of original and repo parts that clearly don't match.

Everything will be "Armory Bright" once you polish them! Seriously, if you have a mixed parts musket just polish everything to match. Polishing, burnishing, and bricking, are all authentic period surface treatments and finishes.
