Free 2 good home: historic NSSA MATERIAL

Clearing out MORE of my late dad’s ( Doug Freeman 1652V) “stuff”...

I have for anyone who wants them, 9 sheets of the old color “slide projector” (???) slides. Each sheet holds about 20 slides.

Would think the NSSA historian, or possibly even someone from McGregors 2d Battery would want them.

Taken by my Grandad, Walter “Bud” Freeman (1656V) they include pics from the following events:

1963:
Ft Meade
Gettysburg
Hanover
1st Work Skirmish at Ft Shenandoah

1966 Range Tower
1966-67 : Antietam and Winchester skirmishes
68: Ft Lee
69 Harpers Ferry
and
’79 Spring Potomac Regional

Slides also feature skirmishers (my apologies for any mis-spellings): Ray Man, Stan Phillips, Joe Brown, Ed Smoothie, Larry Chiarizia, Steve McKimmie, Russ Gotshall, Ali Melekogh, and Butch Latinen.

I don’t have the equipment to convert, and store, these old snap shots from our past into digital formats. Hoping that the NSSA, or an interested party does and will.

Lastly, I’m interested in turning over the whole shooting match to one person. I don’t have the time or inclination to sort out and distribute single slide pictures.

Thanks in advance for your time, and consideration, but most of all your willingness to take them off my hands!!!
