Looking for 1863 Sharps Infantry Rifle Pet Loads.

Have a Pedersoli and so far I have gotten 45 grains of 2Fg as a recommendation. Anyone have a load out there that had worked well for them? I am shooting the ring tail bullet from a Rapine mold. Thanks in advance. Ron in Las Vegas.

45-50 grains of 2F is pretty standard.

I shoot 38 GRS. of 2FG. GOEX with with a ring tail / Christmas tree bullet with good luck.

38g 0f FF may be light in the rifle although it works fine in the carbine. The "110th load" if you will, is 50 g of FF.
