Original Colt 1849 Pocket Model Revolver
A NICE LITTLE PIECE!! .31 cal, octagon barrel, loading lever, blue finish, brass grip strap. Cylinder features the requisite stagecoach hold-up scene.
Matching serial numbers, fully functioning, complete original arm. It was clearly a regularly carried item by previous owners. At some point, she had her right wooden grip professionally repaired.
Dad picked her up 40-50 years ago, neither of us have ever fired her. She's collecting dust with me, it needs to go to someone who collects/appreciates such arms.
