This Sale is for an original sharps carbine with an excellent relined Hoyt bore, with an insert in the chamber, (I'm not familiar with this ... for reduced powder charge??) has early 1859 butt stock with patchbox, stock numbered inside the cover, forend has inspectors marks. functions correctly. rear sight missing elevation bar. mismatched serial number son barrel and frame, Excellent bore. $1200. shipped to CONUS... Well Bob Anderson using the advice I suggested it took me 17 seconds to find this post.
Anyway, I see now my suggestions about using the BB as a source were vacuous from the reader's perception.
