Second Model Maynard for sale. It was my backup Maynard, but I can no longer see the sights, so it needs a new home. I will have to stick to the first model. Really nice gun with good markings, cartouches, and mottled case coloring on receiver. The case colors are still visible in some spots. Excellent barrel with strong rifling. I see a little bit of chatter, but virtually no pitting. I put a patch through it this morning and couldn't feel any pitting. Crown of the barrel is excellent. Has original front and rear sights. 3.5 pound crisp trigger. Barrel is still blue, but it shows signs of aging. Wood is in really nice shape. A really fine gun that looks as good as it shoots. I also have a Jensco Hoyt match barrel for this gun that I have shot with it for sale separately. I have used this barrel on two different original Maynards and it locked up just fine on both. Also have a quantity of full capacity and reduced capacity cases for sale. If the purchaser of the gun doesn't want the extra barrel or the cases, I will offer them for sale later. Price for the gun delivered to the fort is $1,750. Will ship for extra cost.
