Bruce,
I found one at a barn sale that the guy was asking $100 for it. Wheeld and dealed I got it for $75 almost new shape and built a practice musket for my Nephew. It shoots decent but what can you expect for the price I paid.

That is also saying it is not worth more just given you an Ideal what I bought mine for and that was 4 yrs. ago

So can you tell me what the barrels fit. My wife has one on her 1863 springfield that shoots good. would be interested in what you have. thanks.

The barrel would fit a model 1863 Springfield. It would also fit on an 1865 or 1866 trapdoor, although you would possibly have to replace the hammer on one of those. I acquired my Numrich barrel as part of the deal when I bought a model 1866 from an old skirmisher and he had the barrel to enable him to skirmish with the weapon.
