50cal. Sharps,

Any one shooting a .50cal. Shiloh sharps do you use the Hans tubes .. Thanks

I have a Shiloh Sharps that uses a .544 bullet and I do use Charlie Hahn's tubes. I use 40 grains of 3F and an overpowder card. Hahn's tubes work well for me.

I Have a few using them. I just bought a 50 cal Shiloh Rifle to do some testing as well. The main issue can come if the chamber is small, like about .550. With this there is just not enough room to break them. The rifle I plan to try these in is a normal size, .625. I expect them to eject close to the 54 caliber units. I will post when I am done.

If they do not work well with his Sharps, I plan to convert to 50 Linbaugh with external priming.
