Help. I have been messing around with this project for a year between personal issues and a new job and grandkids....... well you get the picture. I found a cutdown buttstock about this time last year and began accumulating the pieces. as I was doing the final fitting of the very nice whitacre barrel I broke a huge piece of the lock mortice off. So I am looking for a decent 1861 buttstock that is long enough for a Richmond Length. What do you have.
