Enlighten me. What is involved in re-lining? It was original barrel, but now has a liner in it?

Yes.....it is bored out and a new rifled liner installed to where its usually hard to see.

To amplify on Pat's comment a bit, I have two guns - Maynard and Spencer - with relines by Bobby Hoyt. Both relines are impossible to see, with or without glasses. Both drive tacks.

Hoyt relined the barrel. As the bore was in bad shape. Basically it is like a brand new barrel.

Nice rifle. Well worth the price. The petty has come out in me again: only in rare instances does Robert Hoyt reline a barrel. What he does is line them.
