Hello, I’ve been a forum lurker here in the last few months. I was reading through a few of the forum threads regarding the Kerr riflled barrels made by Bobby Hoyt. The last post made on that topic is about 3 years old. Did anyone here actually get one to try? What were your experiences!
thanks!

*** sorry, meant to say “Does anyone have”

Bill Adams has done some groups with the Hoyt-Kerr barrel, and it shot well enough for him. Dave Goodrich, one of the competitors at the 2015 Oak Ridge match did pretty well for his first time out with one of Hoyt's Kerr barrels matched to a P53 Parker-Hale. He shot a 69 at 200 yards, 79 at 300, 53 at 600, and a 6 at 1,000. At the 2016 match Dave again competed with the Kerr and scored a 93-2x at 200, 73 at 300, 42 at 600, and 13 at 1,000. In 2017 Dave switched over to a Pedersoli Whitworth and scored a 98-2x at 200, 80 at 300, 52 at 600, and 21 at 1,000 yards. The winner that year at 1,000 won with a 71 shooting a Pedesoli Gibbs match rifle.

Thank you for the information. Comparison to the Pedersoli Whitworth is very helpful!
