Recently, I have had the local SAC representative look at and approve several firearms. I am waiting for the SAC cards to arrive from John Holland, and then I will post. However, I have a 63 type II that is almost finished. Finished is a relative term. Here is what you will get.

44 inch stock original with the usual bumps, dings and minor repairs.

original nose cap and repro screw. With this nose cap, it should bring the two bander passable.

3 original bands

3 original band springs

original rear sight and leaves

original ramrod spoon and pin

full length Numrich Barrel with 7 lands and grooves

Replacement piece of Black Walnut for stretching. The block of wood has the barrel channel inletted. With this piece of wood, it will bring the stock to full length.

Original 1864 Springfield lock

Original trigger guard plus screws minus swivel.

original butt plate and screws

To make this work for you, you need a trigger swivel and a full length ramrod.

To make this work for you to make a 63 type II Artillery model, you need to cut the barrel to 33 inches, find a trigger guard swivel, and new front sight and a ramrod.

The price for this project is $825 shipped and insured or delivered to a close location.

Ten percent of the final price will be donated to the NSSA fund.
