For Sale: Original Gallagher Carbine
This piece was used at one time for skirmishing, given its raised brass front sight (I have NO idea how well dad with it in skirmishes...).
Minus the front sight, she's 100% original. Serial Number: 3621
Bright exterior with minor cosmetic peppering around the cone/breech. SOLID/tight action, ORIGINAL/strong rifling. Stock in good condition, no signs of abuse or neglect. Buttstock shows lightly hand etched "93" or "95" (??) and what I assume to be a name.
She's been used in skirmishes, but has been sitting idle for a number of years. A worked up piece, she's ready to go - just waiting for someone to "take her to the dance"!
