Original 1841 Robbins & Lawrence Drake Conversion Rifle.
Dark bore in original .54 with strong rifling
This is a beautiful original MASS marked rifle.
The front sight is a replacement (epoxied, not by me!). It would be an easy restoration to install a correct reproduction.
There is a sliver of wood missing behind the breech. Too bad as this one looks like it was little used.
