WTB a replacement mainspring for a euroarms Rodgers/Spencer 44cal. revolver,does anyone have one to sell or can put me in contact with a skirmisher who can make one,both sutlers S/S an Lodgewood do not have them,please respond to my e-mail sandyp@widomaker.com,THANKS,William,OLD DIMINION DRAGOONS.

Yes,it appears that no one has the main spring,others skirmishers are also having this problem with there R/S,Euroarms has gone out of business,Dixie Gun Works does not list them in there 2018 catlog, the only way is to find a gunsmith who will make a replacement from the old spring,the RODGERS/SPENCER model is a great shooter ,please be aware if buying one that you check there spare parts listing first,Thanks to all who have helped me with this request,William, n-ssa 7652V.

It's not that hard to do. I have done it myself. You don't have to use bluing salts to temper you can also use lead.
Just get it to a nice blueish purple color and lay it on a piece of wood so it doesn't cool to fast.

You might check with Peter Dyson and Son in the UK. I bought several from him last year.
And no I don't have a spare
