Team member looking for an N-SSA LEGAL cutdown smoothbore. I don't know enough about them to say the correct model, so input is welcomed.

This member is vertically challenged, so shorties are the order of the day.

Reproductions OK. Sighted or unsighted.

Let me know what you have and your asking price. Wanna stay under the $1000 mark, BTW

Thanks!!

There are three versions of the Macon... which is a cut down 1842 Springfield/Palmetto. 30", 34" and 36"

There is also a short carbine that is called a C.S Richmond, fro salvaged M-1842 parts.... with a barrel length of 24.25"

These are the ones that I know of.... If you need sheets for them let me know email me direct @ josephplakis1 @gmail.com (no spaces)

Don't forget the 1847 series of musketoons. There were three models, cavalry, artillery, and sappers. All were .69 cal and had 26 inch barrels. The cavalry model was brass mounted, the artillery was iron mounted as was the sappers (I think). They were not simply cut down model 1942's, which they resemble, but are different as all parts are scaled down.
