One of the last Sharps I'll be selling. Great condition percussion IAB Marcheno Sharps 1863 carbine in .54 caliber. Imported by Sile New York in 1977. Breech has been modified by Larry Flees using a bronze AMPCO conversion this past summer. Very nicely done with zero gas leaks and very consistent ignition/velocity. Bore is excellent with the slightest hint of wear. Overall condition of the Metal is about 85% with some wear on the forward barrel and breech block lever from handling. Wood is excellent with some saddle marks on the left side. Mechanically perfect with nice trigger pull. Bore slugs at .520/.540 and the chamber takes 1.125" Hahn tubes. Gun shoots like a dream.
