Nice Burnside Carbine Barreled Receiver dated 1864. Matching barrel and receiver are completely stripped but both are serviceable. Metal finish is mostly mixed patina and blue with some intermittent scale, heavier on the receiver. Bore is decent and I would rate 7.5/10. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Lands are bright throughout and the grooves have some pitting in various spots. See pics for a better idea. Barrel should make a good shooter.
