This is a beautiful percussion 1863 Sharps saddle ring carbine in .54 caliber. Gun is essentially new and only test fired after Charlie Hahn did the breech conversion. Gas seal is rock solid with zero leakage! I would rate condition at about 98+% with only light handling/storage marks. In addition, I had Robert Hoyt reline the barrel with a match grade liner that slugs at .520/.540. Crown is perfect. Gun shoots extremely well with 40 grains of 2F, Kaboskey sharps bullets, and 1.375" Charlie Hahn paper tubes. The only thing I didn't touch was the front/rear sight as most competitors have personal preferences regarding sights. No apologies with this gun! $1,100 shipped.
