I have an original 1841 that was broken in two and I have made into a Mounted Infantry in 54 caliber. This is all Harper's Ferry. The barrel is lined by Hoyt. Has Rich Cross rear sight. Everything else is Original. The stock is repaired in the wrist and not too hateful to look at.

I did pin the front and rear sight and used Black Max to attach them. I did not want to heat the barrel due to how the liner is retained. Should be fine.
