Thanks for the reply Jim - but that is much more than my friend is looking for. He's really looking for something that someone has gathering dust in the corner. Some old Pa or Ken. longrifle that's no longer useable... He just likes his "old timey" things and he hangs em around the walls of his barn.

There are a number of producers of "non-guns" that sell rather good looking copies of weapons (Denix?) that look fairly good from a distance, yet are cheap enough that your friend could age to look old timey. It is doubtfull if an original Kentucky or Pennsylvania of any merit could be cheaper.
