I have 80 lbs (+/-) of scrap lead. It's seams, flanges, and end caps from excavated underground phone cable sheathing. It's really dirty; definitely a melt outside project. I would expect it will end up about Bhn 7 or 8 - definitely too hard for minies but OK for those who like hard lead for RBs and carbines. 45 dollars for the pile.
I also have about 20 lbs of type - still in typeface sets - for $1 a pound, and 45 lbs of wheel weights, cast into 1 and 2 lb ingots - .95 a lb
