Henry Front Sight

How are the front sights on Henry's attached? I need to install a taller one and was not sure if they were soldered in place or just pressed. Thanks for the help in advance.

The front sight is removed by just tapping it out with a punch. A replacement blade can easily be cut out of an old Ford metallic key. It has a nice shape. Wack it with a hacksaw, put it on a file to get it down to the right thickness and tap it in.

Thats assuming you have an old ford laying around for parts :lol:
But your right, an old brass key works great !
