Wow.....that was fast. Thanks for all the responses. I am new to the NSSA having only been a member since last falls national. I will confer with my team and get back with everyone once I decide on a direction. Thanks again...

Hey guys, thanks for all the offers. I made a deal today on a musket so now I need a mold. Anyone have a .678 mold they don't need?

Thanks,

Randall

I've got a .680 aluminum block mould ( I think it's a Shiloh) $75 shipped to your door.

Jeff Tanner has been making brass moulds for folks for years. I have one. Only issue is that you have to remove the sprue manually (I use tile nippers for the bulk, then a trimmer in the drill for the final).

30GBP = ~ $32.00 US Dollars. No handles, BTW

I use an RCBS .678 mold. Very small sprue. I like it a lot.

Good luck with your 42! I shoot a bone-stock (well, glass bedded) Armisport 1842 and it's a great shooter!

I like .69 caliber because the holes are so much bigger! :)
